I ordered this wi-fi AC because I am away from home for weeks at a time and need to be able to remotely controller the ambient air temperature in my incubator room. This Frigidaire unit does a fantastic job at keeping the temps stable, and I can make any adjustments I need at any time, from anywhere, by using the app. I installed this AC three years ago and it still runs perfectly. And Frigidaire upgraded their app a while back, so there are no more issues with units disconnecting from the network. Also, the user interface on the newest version is super easy to navigate. But the best feature this AC offers is its ability to be programmed to meet any needs. Everything from timers, to sleep modes, to start/stop schedules, can be set up however you want. What more can you ask for? Overall, this is a high-quality unit that performs better than expected, and it doesn't cost a fortune. If you need to add or replace an AC, you can't go wrong with this one.

The window ac I purchased cools a 12x8 room quickly. I appreciate the remote being able to adjust the temperature and fan speed. The unit is attractive as well. It is much better than the unit I replaced. I would buy again.

Got this AC, with the additional coverage, specifically for our baby boys room over summer. I wanted wifi in order to prevent waking him up by entering the room. I can adjust the AC accordingly by phone app. depending on the weather outside, and it keeps our son cool and comfortable. My wife and I are very pleased with the purchase. We actually bought 3, one for each bedroom. I was nervous about our room, we have very barrow windows but this air conditioner fit perfectly, it is the only 6000 BTU AC that would fit our window, it is a 1/4 inch smaller in width than the window opening!

I needed something that would fit into a tight window. This got the bill. What I really love about this unit is the WiFi and App. I can turn it on and off and adjust it from anywhere! I use the app all the time. This is my 2nd unit and they both work great with the app.

It works well, it cools my entire room very quickly, and the app works very well for me. The automation feature works as well! It was an easy install and turning my window into a wall really accents the AC Unit as a subtle spot in the room. It just works!

I am so glad I purchased this to supplement my aging central air conditioning. I love the wifi connectivity more than I expected to. I thought the wifi would be an occasionally useful tool for when I forgot to reset the unit for the daytime. However, I can tell my Alexa to change the thermostat while I'm getting dressed or preparing food, I can adjust the temperature while sitting down for a meal, or I can adjust it after I've left the house. I honestly couldn't get the provided remote control to work and didn't care. The remote is in my phone. It's the main way I adjust the unit. I did order a few thousand BTUs too small for my space, but it's all I could afford. It cools the space as well as it can, but I wish I could have purchased a larger unit so this one didn't have to run so hard.

I bought this ac unit for my upstairs bedroom and figure that since it is small enough to fit the tiny window it would keep the whole room cooler then what it got, man was I surprised that it turned my upstairs into a giant icebox after a few hours. I am pleased with my purchase and how well it is holding up so far. It isn™™t loud as some have commented and I love the ability to run it from my phone so before I get home it is already cooked after work

Love the features on this AC unit. It is much quieter than others in the 5k-6k btu range. I really like that the control lights turn off after a period of time so there is no added light in the room. The unit has worked well so far after three weeks of operation.

The air conditioner was a great purchase. Cools our room down very quickly and efficiently. Some of the noises it makes are a little strange to me but reading the manual said that new high efficiency a/c™™s make these sounds. Love being able to control it with my phone and have a remote.

The controls are nonsense and impossible to work in the dark. The cheap vents don™™t allow for much directionality. It™™s also far and away the poorest fitting window unit I™™ve ever owned. There are gaps everywhere. This is extremely cheap and if this is the best Fridgidaire can do then they should make can openers or something less complicated.

I live in a tiny studio apartment. This AC unit works fine. I like the scheduling app as it makes it super easy to turn on before I arrive home from work. I admit, I also use the app to adjust the output when I'm playing videogames and I'm feeling too lazy yo grt up and fins the remote.

Not too bad I installed two of these and they seem to be working pretty well. They are cold and the remote makes it easy to adjust the temperature. I also have another brand and their app is a lot better. I recommend using the remote for this brand.

We bought this AC for our sons room. We have central air in the house, but the two rooms upstairs still get extremely hot. This AC gives us the ability to control it from our phone. We are also able to see the room temperature and adjust the AC accordingly. It has an Eco setting allowing the room to stay at one temperature. We are extremly happy!!

This unit is replacing one from 2008, so about time. This is SO much quieter, and has done a good job so far keeping the bedroom comfortable (we haven't hit any really hot days so far).The WIFI control wasn't what made me buy this unit, but it was quick and easy to set up, and seems to work well, although I don't bother with it much. Nice to be able to check the room temperature remotely from my tablet even when the AC is turned off. I think this will allow me to leave it off until I see the temps starting to climb and then turn it on during the summer. We'll see how that works out

i™™d say that the quality of this air unit is very good! i will say though, i believe if you have the space for 6,000 btu and you choose this one, i™™d go maybe to 7,000 or 8,000 because it just doesn™™t seem to bring the whole room down i guess, but only a small portion!

This unit is exactly what I was looking for. I work from home and my office is at the end of the house so the central ac is pretty much out of air by the time it reaches my workspace. I love that I can turn it on/off via Wifi. It cools very quickly and is very quiet for its output.
